8-Bit Bayonetta Download

April Fool’s 8-Bit Bayonetta from SEGA.

SEGA’s favourite Umbran Witch climaxes her way onto PC in pixelated retro glory! It’s no secret that a lot of gamers want the two Bayonetta games on the PC. And while this may not happen anytime soon, SEGA released an 8-bit 2D version of it on Steam as an April’s Fools joke. A free side-scrolling game featuring everyone’s favorite Umbra Witch. Sega is not the only video game company getting in on the April Fool’s Day madness. However, since the game is on Steam, it has unlockable achievements and it seems there is a purpose after all to the release of this game other than just a bit of fun on April Fool’s day.

Good

The best April Fools joke ever made, please Sega release at least the first Bayonetta on PC! It's actually a good game with nice pretty pixel graphics. It does have settings simple stuff resolution, fullscreen/windowed and keymapping. The gameplay itself is really simple but so addictive it's weird because all you do is jump, shoot, jump, shoot, rinse and repeat. The achievements were fun to complete as well nice and easy for anyone wondering about that! Jump and shoot increasingly dense waves of enemies. It's Megaman, but you can't walk forward. The enemies (there's only two) come to you. It's sixteen free achievements, and you can get all of them in under an hour.
