Blue Effect VR Review

7.6 Total Score
Very Good

Blue Effect VR combines dark atmosphere, tense music, and frightening monsters in this horror themed shooter. You're basically in some sort of deserted factory in total darkness, the only things you can see are the red eyes of some of the monsters, but you have a blue ball you can throw out into the darkness to illuminate an area. The hide and seek mode is terrifying and brilliant. Thankfully most monsters have red eyes that allow you to discern them from the rubble in the warehouse, so look for the eyes and start shooting! This game runs very smoothly and the light effects are great. The developers are very active, and I think this game has incredible potential to set the standard for horror player-versus-player games for Virtual Reality. Blue Effect is what happens when developers pay attention to detail.
