Navigate action scenes of destruction as they skip and rewind in broken time.
Quantum Break is a science fiction, action-adventure third-person shooter video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios. In the aftermath of a split second of destruction that fractures time itself, two people find they have changed and gained extraordinary abilities. The game centers on protagonist Jack Joyce, granted time manipulation powers after a failed time-machine experiment, as he comes into conflict with former friend Paul Serene over how to deal with an apocalyptic “End of Time”. In addition, the game includes platform game elements in less action-oriented segments. With his family in danger and the world at the brink of collapse, Jack must battle the evil Monarch Solutions using the only weapon he has: time itself. There are also “junction points” that affect the game’s outcome. The game features episodes of an integrated live-action television show, featuring the actors of the characters. The characters interact with the player’s choices, displaying the results of the decisions made.

Quantum Break Reviews:
Remedy has created something new and special with their bold storytelling and great action sequences. The story is quite elaborate, the human character animations are outstanding, the performances are great, and there are some real moving moments in the game. There's a good balance between the shooting and exploration sections, and while some people may dislike the simplicity of the core shooting, the time-related powers augment it enough to make it fun. Nothing will prepare you for the sheer joy however that is your ability to manipulate time; not only because it’s a great gameplay tool, but also because of the gorgeous visual effects that it brings to the table and how it enables you to affect the game’s world. As a TV show, it does a good job of staying interesting without wearing out its welcome. Telling a story inside and outside the game was a risk that ultimately paid off. The result is certainly satisfying.
