Syberia 3 Review

OK

Finally - after so many years of waiting - the adventure of Kate Walker is extended. Plunged into the heart of a world inhabited by a cast of interesting characters, you'll discover and experience a fabulous tale as imagined by Benoit Sokal. Even though the game has some visual bugs and is very stiff to control, the overall graphics and atmosphere is just magical. You can sense Benoit Sokal's creativity from the very beginning. I thought it was going to be feeling a bit odd playing this game in 3D... but it's not. You are from the beginning dragged into the story, naturally and smooth. In Syberia 3, a puzzle is more like an explorable area. You inspect an area which then brings you upclose then you must pan the camera around finding interactive spots, examine various spots, and possibly maneuver them around. Then and only then would you apply the items you have in your inventory. Syberia 3 brings the definition of adventure back on track, a genre long forgotten and underrated by action-adventure games that concentrate more on combat than platforming.
