ASTRONEER Review:

8.7 Total Score
Superb

Developed by System Era Softworks, Astroneer is an early-access sandbox game set in a vibrant, colour rich universe. Exploration is the biggest part of the game and where you will be sinking your time into, right now you can go to 5 planets all of which can be explored to your hearts content. The art style is just amazing and the mechanics have depth since all the building in this game is atomic and modular. The game uses a unique method of interacting with the world, yet has no user interface to speak of. It is seamless and helps to immerse you into the world that you explore and create. Great game and awesome concept. Much in the vein of games like Minecraft and Subnautica, it has you exploring, gathering resources, and crafting items, vehicles, and modules to help further explore and discover what the world(s) offer. Certainly recommend this game for space lovers and people looking for a bit of a semi-casual experience.
